The Mansfield Metropolitan Housing Authority (Richland County Ohio) is requesting proposals for qualified applicants to provide up to (25) Section 8 Project-Based Vouchers (PBV) under a PBV Housing Assistance Payments Contract for a New Construction or Rehabilitation project. These may be for two (2) or three (3) bedroom units.

A successful applicant will enter into a Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) Contract with the MMHA. Minority Business Enterprises, Woman Business Enterprises, Small Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, and Section 3 business concerns are encouraged to respond to this RFP.

Effective Sunday, January 1, 2023 at 12:00AM, the Mansfield Metropolitan Housing Authority, City of Mansfield Ohio will close the Housing Choice Voucher waiting list until further notice in accordance with CFR 982.206.
No pre-applications will be accepted for the Housing Choice Voucher Program waiting list after the closing date and time of Sunday, January 1, 2023 at 12:00AM. Public Notice will be provided when the Mansfield Metropolitan Housing Authority determines to re-open the waiting lists.
The MMHA has determined that based on HUD regulation, a public hearing is not required when opening and closing the waiting list. Therefore, only public notice will be provided as stated in the prevailing Mansfield Metropolitan Housing Authority Administrative Plan.
